Hyundai Mobis extends winning streak to 11 games against KOGAS

The Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus continued their winning streak against the Daegu KOGAS Pegasus.

The Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus won 91-79 against the Daegu KOGAS Pegasus in the fifth round of the 2023-2024 Jungkwanjang Professional Basketball League on Monday at Daegu Indoor Gymnasium. Hyundai Mobis, which won its 11th consecutive game against KOGAS, is in sixth place with a 21-18 record, while KOGAS, which ended its seven-game home winning streak, is in seventh place with a 16-24 record.

Hyundai Mobis’ Gage Prim had 19 points, Kebe Aluma added 18, and Lee Woo-seok and Choi Jin-soo had 16 and 14, respectively. For KOGAS, Lee Dae-heon scored 16 points, Andrew Nicholson added 15 points and Kim Nak-hyun finished with 10 points.

Hyundai Mobis took the lead early in the first quarter with back-to-back baskets from Aluma and Choi Jin-soo, and managed to widen the gap in the middle of the quarter with three-pointers from Aluma and Choi Jin-soo. Aluma and Choi Jin-soo scored again, and Lee Woo-seok added four points in the final minute. KOGAS closed the gap with two free throws by Nicholson and a two-pointer by Lee Dae-heon in the final minute. Hyundai Mobis ended the first quarter with a 24-17 lead.

In the second quarter, Hyundai Mobis continued to set the tone. Prim scored the first six points of the quarter. Kim Tae-wan, who has developed a knack for three-point shooting, hit a three-pointer midway through the quarter, and Prim also hit a 토토사이트 two-pointer. In the final period, Okzone scored back-to-back baskets. Hyundai Mobis ended the first half with a 48-34 lead.

In the fourth quarter, the gap didn’t widen or narrow much. KOGAS tried to close the gap with three-pointers from Kim Nak-hyun and Cho Sang-yeol, but Hyundai Mobis answered with consecutive baskets from Lee Woo-seok, Prim, and Park Moo-bin. The game ended with Hyundai Mobis leading 91-79.
