The Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour’s BC Card-Hankyung Ladies Cup, held at Pocheon Hills Country Club in Pocheon, Gyeonggi-do, on Sept. 23, recorded its highest-ever viewership.
According to Nielsen Korea, the final round of the tournament, broadcast on SBS Golf and SBS Golf 2, reached a viewership rating of 1.29%.
The four-day average viewership was also high at 0.792%.
These are the highest final round and average viewership figures for a KLPGA Tour event this season.
It is also the highest viewership since the tournament’s inception in 2015, SBS Golf said.
The previous record was 1.087 percent for the 2020 tournament, when Kim Ji-young won with an eagle in overtime over Park Min-ji.
This year’s tournament saw the ratings soar to 2.683 percent during the 80 minutes of overtime between Park, Yoon In Na and Park Ji-young, and 3.405 percent when it came down to the final showdown between Park and Yoon In Na.
Online concurrent viewers through SBSGolf.com and portal sites Naver and Kakao also exceeded 100,000, the highest number this season. 안전토토사이트
