Madison, even himself was surprised by his great performance!

James Maddison, who has been very active since his transfer to Tottenham, assessed that the level of attention to his performance has changed.

Maddison began receiving attention from fans when he transferred to Leicester City in the 2018/19 season.

Maddison was classified as a proven player in the Premier League, scoring 55 goals and 41 assists in 203 games over 5 seasons while playing for Leicester.

He also played for the England national team and received even more attention from fans. 바카라사이트닷컴

As Leicester City was confirmed to be relegated in the 2022/23 season, rumors of his transfer spread.

Since he showed off his passing sense, pressure release, and powerful kick in the Premier League, teams looking to strengthen their midfield seemed likely to target him.

However, Tottenham took him first, and despite his outstanding resources, Tottenham was able to bring in Maddison for only 40 million pounds (about 67 billion won).

Since transferring to Tottenham, Maddison has shown tremendous skills and is showing performances that are even better than those at Leicester City.

Madison led Tottenham’s upward trend by coordinating Tottenham’s attack along with his existing strengths of passing and kicking.

With Maddison’s performance, Tottenham recorded 6 wins and 2 draws in 8 league games, and Maddison also scored 2 goals and 5 assists during the same period.

Some media outlets evaluated Maddison as the player to fill Harry Kane’s vacancy next to Son Heung-min.

Meanwhile, Maddison said that although he showed similar performances during his time at Leicester, his interest at Tottenham was different.

British media Spurs Web reported Madison’s interview on the 22nd (Korean time), saying, “Madison believes he is receiving more attention since his transfer to Tottenham.”

SpursWeb said: “Madison believes he has been in the spotlight more since his move to Tottenham and admits he was at a similar level at Leicester but failed to grab the headlines.

He was outstanding at Leicester but has been the best playmaker in the league since his move to Tottenham.

He is being mentioned as one of the people.”

According to reports, Maddison said in a recent interview: “What I would say is that I definitely get more praise.

People recognize me more because I’m at a big club.

The games I played for Tottenham are considered really good games.

In fact, I thought I could have done better,” he said after his transfer to Tottenham.

He added: “I don’t mean to be rude to disrespect a team like Leicester who are relatively small in the Premier League.

I played really well and I think I had a good performance at the time as well.

But that wasn’t mentioned. The reason is that Tottenham are in the Premier League.

It’s because it’s a bigger club,” he explained.

Maddison also pointed out that Tottenham is playing good football.

He said, “I feel like I’m playing the best football I’ve ever played.

I’m now old enough to experience that. But I’m still 26 years old, I have a long way to go and I’d like to say I’ve started my career now.”

He did not hide his desire to continue his work properly.

While Maddison, who is raising the status of Tottenham, acknowledged the interest he is receiving from Tottenham this season, attention is being paid to whether Tottenham will be able to end the season with results befitting the status of the club that Maddison mentioned.

Meanwhile, Maddison also heaped praise on the two men leading Tottenham’s rise, coach Angie Postekoglou and Son Heung-min.

On the same day, on the 22nd, according to Britain’s ‘The Sun’, Maddison said, “Director Postekoglou is an ‘alpha male.'” He also said of Son Heung-min, “When I see him every morning, he is the person I want to hug.”

‘The Sun’ conveyed Coach Postekoglou’s charismatic leadership, saying, “Even a player with a one-of-a-kind personality like Madison cannot ‘squeak’ in front of Coach Postekoglou.”

Maddison said of coach Postekoglou, “He is a coach who is very good at instilling passion in his players.

He has a way of speaking, and when he speaks to the entire team, it is like an ‘alpha male’.”

When men are gathered together, a fight often breaks out, but Coach Postekoglou is said to be excellent at ‘training’ young and energetic players.

On the other hand, he felt a different sense of leadership from Son Heung-min.

Maddison expressed Son Heung-min’s warm personality, saying, “When I played for Leicester City, Son Heung-min didn’t even know me.

But after the game, he came up to me, shook my hand, complimented me on how great I played as a player, and gave me a hug.”

He continued, “Son Heung-min doesn’t have to do that at all, but he does the same with other players.

It’s fantastic because he’s a really warm person and a captain who sets an example.”
