KT’s Kim Sang-soo the No. 1 hitter in Games 1 and 2 of the PO, “makes magic in the postseason”

Kim Sang-soo (33-KT WIZ) said, “I witnessed magic at KT in my first year with the team.”

“I hope that magic will happen in the postseason as well,” he said.

KT, which was ranked 10th until June 5, finished the regular season in second place and went directly to the playoffs (PO).

The team lost the first round of the PO, but that didn’t dampen their spirits.

“During the regular season, when we fell to the bottom of the standings and came back up, confidence spread through the team,” said Kim Sang-soo at Katie Weeds Park in Suwon on June 31, the day of the second game of the PO against the NC Dinos. “We started the PO with a tough start, but we can rebound.”

Kim, who was drafted by the Samsung Lions in the first round in 2009, first became a free agent after the 2018 season and signed a three-year contract with Samsung for up to 1.8 billion won ($1.8 million).

When he became a free agent again after the 2022 season, he saw an 온라인카지노 “opportunity” and landed with KT, which had a gap in its infield due to the enlistment of star shortstop Shim Woo-jun. KT signed Kim for four years and 2.9 billion won.

“Free agents are bound to feel pressure in their first season,” said Kim Sang-soo. “I’m really glad KT went straight to the PO. I’m really happy,” he laughed.

Kim Sang-soo was also a key player in KT’s rebound.

Kim played in 129 games in the regular season this year, batting .271 with 56 RBIs and 58 runs scored. He also commanded the infield as the starting shortstop.

“He hit and played well all season,” said KT manager Lee Kang-cheol.

In the first game of the 30-day PO, Kim Sang-soo started at first base and went hitless in four at-bats. However, Lee decided to keep him in the leadoff spot in Game 2.

“As much as you believe in me, I want to repay you with good results,” Kim said.

During his time with Samsung, Kim appeared in 33 postseason games and won three Korean Series titles (2011, 2012, 2014).

“I want to have a magical fall with my KT teammates,” Kim said of his desire to win. 온라인카지노사이트
