Three English Premier League (EPL) teams are vying for AC Milan’s Dibok Origi (28).
“Three English Premier League clubs – Burnley, Fulham and Nottingham Forest – are considering a move for AC Milan forward Diborg Origi,” Sky Sports reported on Monday (Jan. 1).
According to the outlet, AC Milan put Origi up for sale this week. Origi joined the Rossoneri last summer, but struggled to make an impact with a meager two goals and one assist in 36 games. As a result, he was released by the club.
Origi has experience playing in the Premier League with Liverpool. He made 175 appearances for the Reds in all competitions, scoring 41 goals and providing 18 assists.
Origi was part of the Anfield miracle. When Liverpool faced Barcelona (Spain) in the 2018-19 UEFA Champions League quarterfinals, they were down 0-3 in the first leg.
The Reds’ savior in this difficult situation was Origi. In the second leg at home at Anfield, he scored the opening goal to turn the tide, and with a 3-0 lead, he scored the decisive goal to seal a miraculous 4-3 aggregate victory.
Origi then scored in the final as Liverpool defeated Tottenham to win their first Champions League title in 14 years.
The three teams currently interested in Origi 토토 are all desperate for strikers. Promoted Burnley have struggled this season, conceding six goals in their opening two games and scoring just one. Fulham have also lost star striker Aleksandar Mitrovic (29-Al-Hilal) to Saudi Arabia, while Nottingham are closing in on a move for Brennan Johnson (22) to Tottenham.
With the transfer window just around the corner, will Origi return to the Premier League to face his old club Liverpool?
